i know it is coincident but mark williams has now been drawn against ronnie in welsh, world open, china open and world championship..all as a possible last 16 match
tbh i think they have to rethink the drawing system: i know the ranking determines the draw but when u look at players like Dott, dun really think he deserves to be as high as 7th seed. i know he has been to 3 world finals but hey, world snooker introduces this cut-off things becoz they dont want players stuck in the top 16 becoz of some gd run 2 full years ago; dott surely in my opinion is not a top 8 player, not even when he gets into 2010 final, let alone in this season.
i know the standard is so high now that in theory there isnt an easy match among the top 16, but still i feel sorry for Williams
just to clarify i am a fan of ronnie and i love watching ronnie playing mark, but not in 4 consecutive last 16 (although ronnie withdrew from world open)
the first time i leave a comment becoz i think the drawing system isnt perfect,
have been follow this site for quite a while, great job and please keep it up mate
btw do u know where can i find the updated century break list? i know the chris turner one but sadly he’s gone
