PTC3: Starts Tomorrow

Hot on the heels of the excellent event down in Gloucester last week, this weekend the snooker party rolls on to Sheffield with the start of the PTC3 event tomorrow. I have not had time to put together a preview of the draw but with so many players involved and playing under such a short format I find it difficult to over-analyse in any event.

PTC7: One Week Left To Enter, £20 Voucher Offer

Attention all players, a reminder that the closing date for entries for the PTC7 event at the South West Snooker Academy is fast approaching, indeed it falls a week from now on the 18th August 2011. Note that all entries must now be made via the new online service at World Snooker.

Also note that the South West Snooker Academy are also running a special promotion for the event, offering a £20 voucher for use at the venue to any entrants to have not yet entered a UK PTC event during the 2011/12 season.

Tremendous Trump Takes PTC2 Title

He may have had a quiet start to the season up until now but world finalist Judd Trump was back to his best today in winning the second PTC event of the new season at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester with a 4-0 victory against Ding Junhui.
