Background

Hartlepoole’s Ryan Clark first rose to prominence back in 2008, when he defeated Belgian prodigy Luca Brecel 5-4 to capture the European U-17’s Championship in Bugibba, Malta.

It would not be until 2013 that he would earn a place on snooker’s main tour however, as he defeated four players at the second Q School event to secure a two-year tour card from the 2013/14 season.

2013/2014

Ryan was to experience a difficult first season on tour, winning just two matches as he ended the campaign ranked 124th.

2014/15

During the following season Ryan would play just six matches, without being able to win one as he finished ranked 120th and was relegated from the tour.
