Career Summary

Despite finishing 33rd in the PIOS for 2007/8, Andy qualified for the main tour as a result of his 6-3 victory in the 2008 English Pro Ticket Tour play-offs against Sheffield youngster Adam Duffy.

2008/9

The start to his début season was to prove mixed with first round defeats in qualifying for Bahrain and the Northern Ireland Trophy, but also good runs in the Shanghai Masters and particularly the Grand Prix, where he defeated Lewis Roberts and Barry Pinches to reach the last 64.

After that however Andy began to struggle and despite two wins during the China Open qualifiers, a 10-8 defeat to Peter Lines in round one of the World Championship ensured that he would end his début season ranked 83rd and lose his professional status as a result.
