Points to Defend: Revision Four

Points to be dropped, 2010/11 Revision Four:

From the start of the 2010/11 season there will now be a two-year rolling ranking system and so the rankings will now be adjusted mid-season, beginning with revision one following the second European Players Tour Championship event of the season which will be completed on the 3rd October 2010.

The second revision will take following the UK Championship in December 2010. At this update, points earned from the 2008 Bahrain Championship and UK Championship tournaments will be replaced by points from the later PTC events and the 2010 UK Championship tournaments.

The third revision will take place following the Welsh Open during February 2010. It would appear that at this stage, points from the 2009 Welsh Open will be removed and replaced by those from the German Masters and the Welsh Open 2011.

The fourth and final revision will take place at the end of the season, following which the points from the 2009 China Open and World Championship tournaments will be removed.
