Points to Defend, 2011/12 Revision One:

As was the case in 2010/11, during the 2011/12 season there will be a two-year rolling ranking system in place which means that tournament seedings will now be adjusted mid-season, beginning with revision one following the PTC6 event on the 3rd October 2011.

To illustrate which players have the most to lose at the first revision (eg who performed well at the 2009 Shanghai Masters and Grand Prix), here is a table showing who has what to defend:
