Gerard Greene shakes hands with new manger, Paul Mount
On Q Promotions are delighted to announce that World number 32 Gerard Greene will be joining the team after he agreed a deal with the player management company.
Greene will be joining current On Q Promotions players Jimmy White, Stephen Lee, Barry Hawkins, Robert Milkins and Michael Wasley and will now be managed by Paul Mount.
Greene commented “I am excited about joining the growing team at On Q Promotions and look forward to a happy future working alongside the rest of the team”
New manager, Paul Mount was delighted to welcome Gerard to the expanding team “I am delighted that Gerard has joined the On Q Promotions team. He is a talented player who has enjoyed a good season so far having moved up the provisional rankings. As well as being a talented player he is also a great guy who will fit in well with the other players and the rest of the team. Gerard will also be a fantastic ambassador for our academy when it opens in a few months and will join the existing players in supporting our chosen breast cancer charities by wearing a pink backed waistcoat and pink bow tie.”
He went on to say “I believe that with On Q Promotions relieving Gerard of the off table strain, he will be able to concentrate on his game, which will benefit his performances and see him continue to climb the rankings.”
Greene, who lives in Kent, practices at Jordan’s Snooker Club in Rainham alongside fellow On Q Promotions player and World number 17 Barry Hawkins. His first match as an On Q Promotions player will be a qualifying match for the China Open on Friday 5th February.
