In the third frame of his match against Mark Williams this afternoon, Stoke’s Jamie Cope made a magnificent maximum 147 break, the second of his career. Click below for more information and to view the 147 video:

Remarkably, Jamie had a chance of making one in the frame before but broke down 72 before letting Williams in to steal it. He made no mistake this time though as he completed the 147, just as at the Grand Prix last year where he made his first.
Impressively he kept up his momentum to take the next frame with a break of 92 to level the match at 2-2, though he eventually lost out 5-2.
