Though his first professional season in 2008/9 ended in relegation from the tour, he did show signs of improvement towards the latter stages with runs to the third round of both the China and Welsh Open qualifiers. Now on the PIOS for the new season, he will be hoping to perform well enough to give himself a second tour at the big time, though he did miss out on the first event of the series and has zero points so far as a result.
