This is excellent news for Mark who despite the injury, made a maximum yesterday as Dave has reported and also put in a brilliant performance to thrash countryman Andrew Pagett 4-0 recently as described here.
I must admit that I am slightly surprised that he is able to return so soon, but he appears to be in decent shape and will most likely enter his match with Joe Swail as the favourite. Given the amount of ranking events on the calendar at the moment, this could prove crucial for Mark’s chances of remaining in the top 16 because his place is far from secure following a mixed season last year.
