PSB: Feedback Wanted

2009 has been quite a year for snooker both on and off the table and throughout the year I (and various other contributors), have attempted to keep you as up to speed as possible here at PSB. As ever though things can always be improved and I am looking for your feedback as to what you would like to see here…

This year has been the first full year in which this blog has existed and it has seen various new features pop up along the way such as our own drawsheets and rankings pages. I am keen however to see what else readers would like to see covered.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be continuing to update the player profiles through to the end of the UK Championship, though while around 1/3 of them are now complete, it will take some time to have them all up to speed! In addition I am planning to post a full review of the year as well as pick up the Perfect Player feature and hopefully post some more articles looking back at the history of former tournaments that are no longer staged.

One thing that I would like to hear from you on is whether during ranking event tournaments you prefer the more formal style match reports that I have produced for the majority of the year, or the live commentary that I provided during the recent UK Championship?

Also would you like to see more features on the top players or would you rather know more about those that are perhaps less well known?

To pass on any feedback (positive or negative), please leave a comment below or drop me an email at prosnookerblog@gmail.com. You can also vote in the poll below:

Love the blog. But there are some things I’d like to see. I’d like to hear more of YOUR opinion. At the moment it’s really a news blog. And I’d like to hear more on your views on the main stories, results etc. Maybe some videos, I know it’s hard to get them but if you could it would be great. Another thing, it’s unlikely I understand, but with snooker scene seemingly stopping them. A podcast maybe?:)
thanks for entertaining me and keeping me informed through the year.
    Great blog

    Hi Matt,
I too would like to firstly complement you on ‘the blog’, although I think what you do is a lot more than ‘just blogging’.
Your site is the only one that i go to whenever i want to find out anything about snooker – if you dont have it then you definitely have a link to it… and if you do have it then there is no point in going anywhere else… so thank you :o )
Now, as far as improvements go the only thing I can think of is what I would call ‘active links’. What I mean is links that are currently topical…. e.g. when the qualifiers are on you’d have links to 110sport, links to the current players, links to the live scores, etc … and maybe this ‘active links’ section could be on the main page so that it could change as the competitions or news changes.
Just an idea but no matter what you do I’ll be clicking in 2010!
    Keep up the great work!
    Rob :o )
