Alfie Burden signing his contract with his new manager, Paul Mount

On Q Promotions are delighted to announce that 2009’s IBSF World Snooker Champion, Alfie Burden, will be joining the team after he agreed a 4 year deal with the player management company.

Burden will be joining current On Q Promotions players Jimmy White, Stephen Lee, Barry Hawkins, Gerard Greene, Robert Milkins and Michael Wasley and will now be managed by Paul Mount.

Burden commented “Being part of the On Q Promotions team will give me stability, as I begin the transition from World Amateur Champion back onto the Professional Tour and beyond, and enable me to concentrate on my snooker with the knowledge that my off table activities are well managed and in safe hands”

New manager, Paul Mount was delighted to welcome Alfie to the expanding team “I’ve watched Alfie play on numerous occasions and I’m convinced he will do well on the Pro Tour. I’m obviously thrilled he has chosen On Q Promotions as his management company and look forward to supporting him on his rise up the rankings and having him make regular appearances, along with our other great players, at the new South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester”

Burden will be joining the Professional tour for the 2010-11 season due to his win in the IBSF World Championships in India in 2009 and is looking forward to competing at the highest level once again.

Alfie’s next competitive match will be in event six of the PIOS when he faces Tom Maxfield in round one.
