
As promised, I have now updated my latest provisional rankings page to reflect the results from the Shanghai Masters qualifiers, although it has come to be attention that they may soon be changing again…
While the new ranking system has on the whole received a positive reaction, I am informed that the World Snooker Association have in a recent letter to the players informed them that there is an anomaly in the ranking points allocation.
I cannot go into more detail at this stage but what this means is that a revised ranking schedule is expected to be released in due course.

interesting that there is an anomoly……..I wonder if it has anything to do with starter points?

Matt, Liang Wenbo in PTC3 should be 760.
