National Snooker Week is nearly upon us, and that means free snooker and free Rileys membership for anyone during that week.
Endorsed by World Snooker and Rileys, National Snooker Week takes place 25 – 29th July, during the school summer holidays.
National Snooker Week (NSW) aims to get more people of all ages playing the sport. Snooker is a sport that’s accessible to everyone and, thanks to Barry Hearn’s World Snooker, it’s growing in popularity amongst younger people.
To celebrate the first ever NSW, Rileys will be offering free snooker every day during National Snooker Week, plus each Rileys venue across the UK will be running a series of events and activities, including mini tournaments, events and great competitions.
The ‘free snooker’ voucher is available now to download from Rileys website and, courtesy of World Snooker, there will also be a chance to win tickets to the UK Championships on Rileys Facebook.
World Snooker’s Barry Hearn says: “There has never been a better time to be a snooker player, we’ve got so many tournaments nowadays, and the prize money is going through the roof! National Snooker Week is for everyone…whether you enjoy playing the game already, or just fancy giving it a try for the first time. And what better time to give snooker a try than when Rileys are offering it for free! I reckon there’s a lot of untapped talent out there… it’d be great if we found the next Ronnie O’Sullivan or Stephen Hendry from someone just coming along to try their hand at the game.”
For those who don’t know the rules, or have never played snooker before, Rileys will have an expert at each of their venues to help any snooker novice get started as they enter the club.
