A short post to link you to the draw for the ‘pink PTC’ aka PTC7 from Gloucester which you can find over at the ever-excellent WWW Snooker here.
As a few of you have already noted on Twitter and during my previous post concerning PTC5, strangely it would appear that contrary to the system employed for that event where three of the five amateurs to finish inside the top 64 on the Order of Merit after the last event, topping the field up to 100, this time they have seeded just one for PTC6, ‘topping it up’ to 96.
Why the contrast in approach for these two events? I don’t know and I am not going to rehearse the issues raised in my post last week but I think that I would not be alone in feeling that greater transparency and clarity would be welcome here.
