You wait ages for one and then three come along at once! Ricky Walden became the latest man to get in on the 147 act this week by compiling the first competitive maximum of his professional career against Welsh amateur Gareth Allen at the PTC10 event today.
Ricky’s max is the 81st in total and second of the current tournament as it looks to have secured him a half-share of the £500 rolling prize with David Gray who compiled his during Sunday’s amateur qualifying round.
