I have probably had more tweets about this than anything else over the past week, but World Snooker have now published the draw and format for this season’s Welsh Open here.
Again, matches will be played over the best of just 7 frames up until the last 16, while the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted that Masters champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has confirmed his entry in the event.
The event runs from 19th February through to the 2nd March 2014 and promises to be a significant one, with ranking points on the line ahead of the seeding cut-off for this year’s World Championship.
