Following the conclusion of last week’s qualifiers, World Snooker have today confirmed both the draw and format for the final stages of this month’s Australian Goldfields Open.
The first full-ranking event of the new season, the tournament will see defending champion Judd Trump in action, as well as 2011 winner and newly crowned world champion Stuart Bingham.
As during previous years there will be two wildcard matches, Matt Selt and Ben Woollaston the two professionals to have drawn the short straw. They will play Ben Judge and Adrian Ridley respectively, the pair having qualified by making it through to the final of the City of Melbourne tournament in the last few days.
The action gets underway from Bendigo in just under three weeks time from 29th June 2015.
