Just three days have passed since Neil Robertson became the latest PTC winner this season but already action is underway in Gloucester at PTC7, aka the pink PTC.

Though it actually happened a few weeks ago under the new rolling rankings system, this week’s seedings revision and the confirmation that of the world’s top 16 for the season’s upcoming tournaments only served to underline the fact that Scotland’s Stephen Hendry will not be among those players. While many are questioning what Stephen must do to regain his place among the elite however, could his top 32 place be in jeopardy?

Congratulations to 17-year-old Thai talent Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon who has today defeated countryman Noppon Saengkham 9-3 in Montreal to win the IBSF World Under-21 Championship.
In doing so Thanawat secures a return to the professional circuit for the 2012/13 season and confirms his status as one of the youngsters to watch at the moment. More will follow on his success over the coming days.
