UK Championship Draw Released, Power Snooker to Return
Following the first mid-season revision to the seedings this Monday, World Snooker have wasted little time in publishing the full draw for the 2011 UK Championship and you can now view that here at PSB. The first in over 20 years to see Stephen Hendry among the qualifiers, it is not without interest however a full preview and analysis will follow closer to the time.
Incidentally news has also surfaced today of the return of Power Snooker, which will take place at the Trafford Centre in Manchester between the 19th-20th November 2011 and again be televised on ITV4. More information on this will no doubt follow…

PSB Reaction: UK Championship Format Reduced
As indicated by Mark Joyce during his recent interview here at PSB, World Snooker have today confirmed the disappointing news that from this season the UK Championship will be contested over the best of 11 frames up to and including the quarter-finals, as opposed to the usual 17.
