IBSF Announce Dates for 2009 World Snooker Championships

2009 IBSF World Championship

Those looking to follow in the footsteps of 2008 IBSF World Champion Thepchaiya Un-Nooh will have the opportunity to do so in Hyderabad, India between the 15th-29th of November 2009. This event will also include the Womens event last won by Reanne Evans and the Masters title currently held by Dene O’Kane.

2009 IBSF World Under-21 Mens Championship

Following the cancellation of the 2008 event, the U-21 World Championship is back on the calendar for 2009 and will be staged in Kish Island, Iran from 3rd-14th August 2009. The winner will succeed Michael Georgiou as champion and earn a place on the 2010/11 main tour as a result.
