Doesn’t time just fly by? It is now one year to the day that I first started work on this blog and to mark the occasion, here are a few words of thanks and plans for the future…
As those of you who have read my ‘about’ page will know, I set up this blog in an effort to put my enthusiasm to snooker to good use and as well as being a lot of fun (and hard work!), for me, I hope that you have gained something from it too.
It is strange to look back now at the early photo-less posts, but they were important in getting things off the ground and none more so than this one advertising the Belgian Open tournament as won by Ricky Walden this time last year. Things began to progress with the completion of the player profiles in December and having now added the legends and media profiles to those, as well as the rankings, the site is now roughly where I want it to be.

The old banner!
Still, there is always room for improvement and if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know! What I would like to do over the next few months is bring you exclusive interviews from the players and other snooker personalities, though whether this will be possible remains to be seen! As ever I will be attending a few professional events during the season and hopefully you will enjoy my reports and pictures from them.
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to people like Janie Watkins, David Hendon, Kevin Smithers, Nick, Phil, Craig, Armbrust, dannyboy, Vicky, Ryan and all the others who have helped with all sorts of things along the way.
Here’s to the next year and what promises to be another intriguing season of snooker!

Happy birthday!!! Surely the best snooker blog in the world!!! I’d like to see those exclusive interviews, we did it with Stuart Bingham and our readers loved it. We’re planning to interview more pros as we don’t get to know the person, only the player.
Keep on

I follow this blog since its beginning and I just thought this would be one of the best, because although there was no pictures, information was extensive and very detailed. And the truth is that, currently, the Pro Snooker Blog is simply the best in the world.

great website Matt I check this everyday for snooker news/updates – so much more informative than worldsnooker website which I used to check daily to see not must change. Also nice to see extensive reports about PIOS and up and coming players always a good read
You should apply for media accreditation for tournaments then you can get those interviews with players and spread your site with the rest of the snooker media/press

Thanks guys, I always appreciate your feedback, be it good or bad.
Will try to keep improving things, though there are only so many hours in the day unfortunately!
