Joe Perry Joins Pink Army

On Q Promotions are delighted to announce that Joe Perry has joined the On Q Promotions team of players.

Perry, from Chatteris, joins the Management stable dubbed the Pink Army.

The former World Semi finalist commented “I’m really pleased to have joined On Q Promotions having seen close friends on the circuit being well looked after and happy with them.

“I feel I am at a turning point in my career at the moment having had a couple of disappointing seasons so this move is a brand new start for me in time for the new season.

“I’m confident that this fresh start is what I need to get back to where I was.

“I’m going into this season thinking about winning tounaments. I want to get that winning attitude back, believing I can go and win.”

Paul Mount, Chiarman of On Q Promotions added “I’m delighted that Joe has chosen to join On Q Promotions and I am very much looking forward to working with him.

“I have known Joe from around the venues and he is a great character, meaning our team has not only gained a very talented snooker player but a great spirit too.

“I believe that Joe is a winner and I am sure he will progress this season and continue to fulfill his potential.”

Nicknamed ‘Gentleman Joe’, 36 year old Perry turned professional in 1991 and reached a career-best ranking in 2007-8, climbing to Number 12.

The highlights of Perry’s career include reaching the final 2001 European Open, and the semi-finals of the World Championship in 2008. Particularly memorable was Perry’s Crucible debut in 2004, hen he beat Steve Davis 10-9, on the final black.

He boasts a tournament high break of 145, made in the World Championship in 2004.
