Cope Hits Third Career Max
Congratulations to Jamie Cope who has tonight made the third maximum break of his career against Kurt Maflin, becoming the latest player to have made a 147 break during this recent flurry that we are seeing in the professional game.
The 85th maximum break on record, this one lifts Cope into a select group of six players to have made three or more during their professional careers and earns him a £250 share of the maximum prize for this event following Ding Junhui’s effort yesterday.

PTC12: The Story So Far

Following the conclusion of the UK Championship, tomorrow sees the start of a PTC double-header as first PTC12 is played to the last 16 stage over two days, before PTC11 is then played in full between Saturday-Monday. While there are as ever important ranking points up for grabs, for those players further down the list, it will be their last chance to add to their total on the PTC Order of Merit and potentially, survive on tour for 2012/13.
