Tour Survival 2011/12: The PTC Eight
Following the conclusion of the UK Championship, tomorrow sees the start of a PTC double-header as first PTC12 is played to the last 16 stage over two days, before PTC11 is then played in full between Saturday-Monday. While there are as ever important ranking points up for grabs, for those players further down the list, it will be their last chance to add to their total on the PTC Order of Merit and potentially, survive on tour for 2012/13. Rankings News: Starter Points Amended (Again)
As a those of you who follow me on Twitter may be aware following my tweet yesterday, following the recent Australian Open there has been a slight tweak to the starter points for the three players who competed during the 2009/10 season but not the 2010/11 season, namely Daniel Wells, Sam Baird and Andrew Norman.

Latest One-Year Rankings
Following on from the conclusion of the Australian Open today, I have now published the latest one-year ranking list here at PSB, including minimum points for Shanhai. Also note that I have given Ronnie O’Sullivan, Steve Davis, Graeme Dott and Anthony Hamilton their minimum points at this stage despite their withdrawals though will remove them in due course if World Snooker do not award them.
