With the ‘end of February’ entry deadline for the 2013 World Championship rapidly approaching, speculation has been growing as to the participation (or otherwise), of the defending champion, Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Having sat out almost the entire season to date, it has now been revealed (eg here in the Mail Online), that O’Sullivan will announce his future plans at a press conference this Tuesday, no doubt including any potential title defence.
Which way will it go? We shall see, my guess is that he will be in Sheffield this year, but that is based on no more than gut feeling and regular readers will know of my track record when it comes to predictions.
But either way, we will know soon enough…
